The Theater Equation - 19 Sept 2015 - Rotterdam - Nieuwe Luxor Theater

I don't have much to write about for this show at the moment, since I have already talked about it in detail with Stef and Raz. The only thing I will say is how pleased we were with the outcome.

Bellow I list the things that we all LOVED:
  • James LaBrie (Me) who's voice was amazing (and hopefully convinced Raz to pay more attention to Dream Theater)
  • Marcela Bovio (Wife) who's acting was on par with her voice
  • Wudstik (Best Friend) whom we heard for the first time and was the best choice to portray this character both for his singing and acting (sorry Arjen but your voice is not that good)
  • Eric Clayton (Reason) who's deep, deep, deep voice gave us goosebumps every single time
  • Anneke van Gierbergen (Fear) who replaced Mikael Akerfeldt and made the role sound as if it was originally written for her (can't wait to see her again, but in a Gentle Storm concert)
  • The Epic Rock Choir who rocked the newly written a cappella parts (special greetings to Cons Marg)
  • The musicians
  • The fact that the characters of Rage and Father were portrayed by the same person (Mike Mills), providing an interesting detail that underlined the character of the abusive father and husband whose image is the personification of rage in the son's comatose mind.
